Kathleen Morr, Class of 1962
KUNKLE - Mary Kathleen (Morr) Kosier, 56, of Kunkle, died Thursday morning, Dec. 7, 2000, in Williams County, as the
result of homicide.
Born in Morenci, Mich., on Nov. 16, 1944, to Florence Mary (Miller) and Ford H. Morr, she was a former Montpelier and
Bryan resident prior to relocating to Kunkle in 1992. On April 26, 1964, she married Marshall Kosier Jr. and he
survives.
A 1962 graduate of Waldron (Mich.) Area High School and a 1963 graduate of Air Line Reservation school in Minneapolis,
Minn., she received her associate's degree in accounting from Northwest Technical College in 1982. She had been
employed as a night clerk at the Econo Lodge Motel at Exit 2 for the past three years, and she attended the Pioneer
Church of the Nazarene.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, Marshall (and wife, Cathy) Kosier III of Bryan and Jeffery (Rita)
Kosier Sr. of Bryan; two daughters, Nancy Kosier of Bryan and Mrs. Franklin (Cheryl) Jaggers of Bryan; eight
grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four brothers, Dale (Joan) Morr of Pioneer, Charles (Rhoda) Morr of Novi,
LeRoy (Nora) Morr of Waldron, Mich., and Walter (Brenda) Morr of Camden, Mich.; and a sister, Mrs. Kevin (Janet)
Yegarty of St. Helens, Mercyside, England.
Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother, Wayne Morr.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. in the Wilson-Geesey Funeral Home in Montpelier.
Memorial services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in the Pioneer Church of the Nazarene in Pioneer with Pastor Michael Dunson
officiating. Burial will be in the Floral Grove Cemetery in Pioneer. Memorials may be made to the Williams County
Diabetic Club.
