Edward L. Sorgenfrie, age 60, of Bryan, Oh., died just before midnight on Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008, in his residence after an extended illness.
Mr. Sorgenfrie was a graduate of Waldron (Michigan) Area High School and was employed by Trim Trends, Bryan, Oh., as a quality supervisor. He served in the U.S. Army from 1968-1970 and continued his service in the Army Reserves from 1981-1985. He was a member of the Bryan Eagles, Aerie #2233. Edward L. Sorgenfrie was born on Aug. 30, 1948, in Jackson, Mich., the son of Claude A. and Barbara M. (Marsh) Sorgenfrie. He married Johnna R. Nemire on Nov. 13, 2003, in Bryan, Ohio, and she survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Brenda Kay (Randy) Williams, of Bryan, Oh., Christen A. (Scott) Wirth, of Sherwood, Oh., and Marie L. (Josh Smith) Sorgenfrie, of Fayette, Oh., one stepdaughter, Kayla M. Nemire, of Bryan, Oh., seven grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, his mother in Waldron, Mich., one brother, Gerry Sorgenfire, of Napoleon, Mich., his grandmother, Eva Yeider, of Waldron, Mich., one stepsister, Sharon Hills, of Pittsford, Mich., and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Karen Kay Sorgenfrie. There will be no visitation or services. Interment will be private. |
